From Pearls to Pearl Onions: Junior League of Galveston County, Inc. Launches New Cookbook with Wine & Food Party

Beachside to Boardwalk Cookbook to be Unveiled at Saturday, July 31st Celebration

Galveston, Texas – Grab your wine glass and join the Junior League of Galveston County, Inc. as they toast the arrival of their new cookbook, Culinary Classics from Beachside to Boardwalk at a posh food and wine party. A delicious sampling of delectable bites prepared by Yaga’s Cafe, the M&M Restaurant & Bar, and the Galveston Restaurant Group chefs will dance across your culinary palate.

Entry is $35 per person or $50 per couple and includes live music, a Beachside to Boardwalk cookbook, appetizers, and choice of wine courtesy of Dry Creek Vineyards. For an additional $10, guests can indulge with premiere wine and VIP area access. Purchase your tickets online at the League’s website: www.jlgalveston.org. This is a rain or shine event; no refunds.

Beachside to Boardwalk features simple, but sophisticated cuisine and honors the League’s 85 years of service to the greater Galveston County area. Showcasing scrumptious Southern Gulf Coast recipes from breakfast to desserts, the book combines the region’s rich history and unique culinary flair. Through exquisite colored photographs and detailed sidebars highlighting local restaurants, historical markers, and events this cookbook illustrates why Galveston County is so distinctive and alluring. Proceeds from the sale of the cookbook and this event support the mission of the Junior League of Galveston County, Inc.
