PEDI-PALS

Since Hurricane Ike, our Pedi Pals project has moved down a new path. Normally, this project worked with the pediatric patients at The Children's hospital at UTMB. Since the hospital has not yet re-opened, our focus has been directed to helping at the Shriner's Burn Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House.

The committee provided fleece blankets to the patients at both the Shriner's Burn Hospital and  the Ronald McDonald house. The Pedi Pals committee provided several craft nights with the residents of Ronald McDonald house, collected pop tabs, donated school supplies and helped redecorate both the inside and outside of the house.
