Junior League of Galveston County Inc. to award up to $10,000 in Funding to Galveston County 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Agencies
Through the generous support of its donors and volunteers, the Junior League of Galveston County, Inc. is able to fulfill needs throughout Galveston County, as well as accomplish its mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
The Junior League of Galveston County, Inc. is offering up to $10,000 through their Community Assistance Fund to qualifying non-profit agencies. The Community Assistance Fund enables the Junior League of Galveston County, Inc. to respond to the short-term, immediate funding needs of 501(c)(3) non-profit agencies within Galveston County that meet specific criteria and guidelines. Primary consideration will be given to requests of an emergency nature, or to those that develop and/or expand a significant service to the community. Individual agencies can apply for funding up to the amount, but will not exceed, $1,000.

Applications can be found on the website through the “Download the Community Assistance Fund Application.” The deadline for the application is October 31, 2017.
The reception for all Community Assistance Fund recipients will take place December 11, 2017 at the Junior League of Galveston County, Inc. December general meeting.
